As of last Friday, a dozen Christmas robins have been hiding away in twelve of our local businesses, bundled up warm against the frosty weather. Simply fill in a form with the colour of their bobble hats, before sending it to community@enjoykingsheath.com, to be in with a chance of winning our fabulous festive hamper, packed with treats for whole family…

Dig out your festive knitwear and join DJs Mitz and Kev for a musical foray into the past, transporting you back to a time when your life was a whole lot easier, and your hair a whole lot bigger…

Kings Heath Artisan Market: Click & Collect

Storm Darragh might’ve postponed this month’s Kings Heath Artisan Market, but not even gale-force winds could stop us from getting our mitts on some of those hand-crafted goodies before Christmas!

Luckily for our last-minute shoppers, the market will now be going ahead in a click-and-collect format on Sunday the 22nd of December. Local makers will be taking orders online or via direct message, all of which will be ready to collect from 10am until 3pm at Sakamoto Hair on York Road, bringing you the very best that indie Birmingham has to offer this holiday season.

Carols by Candlelight

This Sunday, All Saints Church will be spreading the Christmas cheer with a candlelit carol service that’s guaranteed to get you in the holiday mood…

Join them from 6pm onwards for a communal celebration of the warmth, joy and unity that make the festive period such a special time of year, and remind yourself of what truly matters this Christmas.

When? Sunday 22nd December; 6pm onwards.

Can’t make it? From 11am – 12.15pm on the 24th of December, All Saints Church will also be holding an informal carol service, right in the heart of the Village Square.

 

Christmas and New Year’s Eve at the Hare and Hounds

We all know the drill by now: as usual, the Hare and Hounds will be supplying the party spirit with its infamous Christmas Eve bash and as usual, the festivities certainly don’t end there…

This iconic venue will be throwing open its doors for an even bigger celebration on the 31st of December, ringing in the New Year with a bang – see you there!

Family-Friendly Cinema Screening

Keep those post-Christmas blues at bay and prolong the festive merriment with a family-friendly screening of Tim Burton’s ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ at the Hare and Hounds.
