Our Capture Kings Heath competition is back, and it is bigger and better than ever!

This year we are pleased to announce we are launching our very first TikTok edition of Capture Kings Heath! Don’t worry you can still enter with a photograph, but we’ll also be accepting TikTok‘s and Instagram Reel entries!
.
We are calling for all budding photographers and videographers to capture what makes you happy, under the theme of “The People, The Place, The Architecture.” It could be your favourite eatery or shop to meet your friends, or your favourite Kings Heath building or local park? Maybe you know of a business owner or local who has done something amazing for the local community, or perhaps it’s the general atmosphere of Kings Heath! Whatever it is that you LOVE about Kings Heath, we want to see it!

How to enter:

We’re asking you to share with us you’re favourite things about The People, The Place and The Architecture in Kings Heath via picture OR video format!

So, grab your friends, grab your smartphones and your cameras, and get capturing!

You can share your entries with us via email (capturekh@gmail.com) or Instagram direct message. Or, you can use the hashtag #CAPTUREKH on TikTok or Instagram!

You can enter as many times as you like so keep those entries coming! The completion launches on February 1st and the last entries will be accepted midday on March 20th to mark International Day of Happiness!

Once again, our panel of expert judges will select one winning entry, while the remaining entries will go to a week-long public vote on the Enjoy Kings Heath social media pages where the second winner will be decided.

This is our 7th year running out ever-popular event, and we’re hoping that this will give you more freedom to capture all the things you love the most! Do that and you might just walk away as our first 2022 winner and bag yourself up to £200!

Please note, Kings Heath BID may use pictures and videos entered into the competition in the future, but if you would like to opt out, simply let us know when they are submitted. Do also be mindful of COVID 19 guidelines at the time of video creation and make sure you get permission from anybody that appears in your entries.
