The Great Kings Heath Easter Egg Hunt has come to an end for another year…did you and your little ones find all 20 Easter Eggs hidden in local shops and cafes? If you did, well done!!
Without further ado, we’re very pleased to announce that the lucky winner of the Great Kings Heath Easter Egg Hunt 2017 is…(*drum roll please*)…Emelia, aged 9! Emelia, pictured here with her Mum Kelly, sister Grace, and Tracey and Michael from William H Painters, has taken home an amazing Easter hamper kindly donated by local business William H Painter Funeral Directors, which is packed with lots of goodies including a yummy Cadbury’s Easter Egg, an Easter Bunny teddy, an Easter colouring book, Easter Egg decorating kit, chocolate carrots and chocolate Golden Eggs! Congratulations, we hope you enjoy your prizes – and don’t eat all of the chocolate at once!
Over a hundred local families got involved in the free fun and joined the trail over the Easter holidays – we hope your little ones all had a great time hunting them down and enjoyed the sweet treats for every child courtesy of William H Painter and I Had One Of Those!
This year, we had so many beautiful Easter Eggs decorated by talented local children and the pupils from Colmore Infant School and St Dunstans Catholic School that we decided to display them in our Easter Eggshibition at Kings Heath Library. Did you spot yours on display!
A huge thank you to all of the children and families who got involved in the fun by decorating an Easter Egg or joining the trail, and of course all of the businesses and schools who took, too!
